The afternoons have been hit or miss when it comes to sun the last few weeks. We were watching the weather closely…and got very lucky! We had the most gorgeous afternoon to head out into the Colorado sunshine.

And I LOVE the sun kissed feel of these last images. Oh the evening light is so beautiful.

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous family with me.
I had the fabulous pleasure of shooting this fun & unique wedding with Laura of L’Amour de Vie last fall. The wedding took place in Estes Park at the Stanley Hotel. From the minute I met the bride I knew this was going to be an awesome wedding full of personality! Dana had the most incredible dress and awesome army boots to go with it! And Ron looked so handsome with his Doc Martins and stylish glasses. Every bit of their wedding reflected their fun personalities…even down to playing Rock Band during their reception. It was a fabulous day.

It is so fun to do something out of my “box.” I recently had the great privilege of working with some of the stylists at the fantastic Europa Colour Salon & Spa in Fort Collins. It was a lot of fun to watch the stylists work and come up with some fantastic makeup and hair styles for the models!

I am so honored to be featured on the Concierge Mom…a fabulous resource for all of the moms (and dads) out there. Suzanne gathers the best tidbits and ideas about all sorts of wonderful things! She shares her wonderful knowledge through the Concierge Mom Blog. Thanks for letting me be part of your “photographing your kids” segment!
Melissa and Scott had an elegant, beautiful and fun wedding in Beaver Creek last month. They got married at the Beaver Creek Chapel (which has a special place in my heart because that is where I was married!) and had their reception at the gorgeous Westin Riverfront. We had the most incredible weather for the middle of May in the mountains. Their day was truly beautiful all around.

I love this reaction, the deep breath…yes you are a gorgeous bride!

The next two shots were taken by the awesome Steve Glass, my second shooter for the day.
I adore this look. There is something so special about the moment a father gets to walk his daughter down the aisle.

And some of their wonderful details…

Here is another super wedding from last fall. I shot this one with the very fun Alison of Alison Rose Photography. The wedding took place at the Lionscrest Manor in Lyons Colorado. It was a gorgeous intimate wedding with lots of great emotion. Thanks Ali for having me join you, it is always tons of fun.

I think it so fun to second shoot because you get to focus on all of the wonderful emotion that unfolds throughout the day- without any of the stress! And here is my two cents…for all of the brides out there I highly, highly, highly recommend having two photographers at your wedding. It provides two perspectives of everything that is going on and creates more photo journalistic coverage of the wedding day. It really allows for the whole story to be told.
This little man is full of giggles! I adore photographing children around 6-9 months of age. They are so interactive, yet they can’t run away from you!
Thank you for sharing the morning with me it was such a pleasure to work with such a sweet, fun loving family!
