Before the spring storm set into Denver I was able to get in this incredibly fun children’s portrait session.

Do they get any cuter than this? Look at these stunning blue eyes!

We didn’t let this handsome fellow totally steel the show. His awesome, full of life, big sister got in on the photo fun as well. There is something I totally adore about 2 year olds. I love and cherish their fierce independence (even when my 2 year old is exerting hers). They have a style that is all their own AND they wear it with confidence!

I think this may be one of my favorite photos of all time. What joy!

And you know that the photo session was a success when it ends like this…

Thank you for allowing me to capture your sweet children just as they are- full of personality, love and happiness. What a fantastic family.

This fun family portrait session from last November slipped through the cracks and I never got around to posting it on the blog. This is Ali of Alison Rose Photography and her awesome family. Ali and I trade photo session every year so that we have some fresh images (with us in them!) for holiday cards. In doing so, we shoot for one another and then since we are both photographers we swap files and edit the images of ourselves. So, as the crazy pre-holiday rush hit- I forgot to even look at the images I took for Ali! So here they are months later.

What a glorious change in weather- only in Colorado can it swing 40 degrees from one day to the next.

Oh how I love newborn photography! They are just so cuddly and TINY! I had the great privilege of meeting little Andrew the other day, what a doll. I must be putting off a vibe that is keeping these darling babes awake because during the last two newborn sessions we tried all the tricks and the little ones just wanted to keep their eyes open and take in the world around them. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special time!

This little man is full of giggles! I adore photographing children around 6-9 months of age. They are so interactive, yet they can’t run away from you!

I was lucky enough to photograph Matt and Deb’s wedding and now I have had the privilege of photographing the newest addition to their lives.
